Youngkin signs O’Quinn’s bill to boost driver CDL population to aid economy
Governor Youngkin has signed legislation carried by Deputy House Majority Leader Delegate Israel O’Quinn of Bristol that will promote and implement initiatives toward raising the number of drivers with commercial licenses in the Commonwealth.
O’Quinn said following consultations with state transportation executives, these changes will help address a shortage of delivery workers without CDLs that has impacted the state and national economy.
