WCSO, TN obtain juvenile petition to make arrest in school threat

The Washington County, Tennessee Sheriff’s Office has obtained a juvenile petition for the arrest of a suspect in a threat made to David Crockett High School. The threat made last week was deemed not viable early in the investigation as police discovered the person in question did not have the means to carry out the threat. The juvenile will be charged with the felony Threat of Mass Violence on School Property and Assault.
