Warriors Path boundless playground receives $7,000 grant for improvements
Officials with Warriors Path State Park accepted a more than $7,000 grant on Tuesday, which will go to improving the Darrell’s Dream Boundless Playground. The funding comes from Enbridge Inc., an energy company that operates East Tennessee Natural Gas.
The total of $7,123 will go directly to maintenance and improvement efforts at the playground, which is the first and only fully accessible playground at a TN state park. The boundless playground is accessible to children of all physical and mental abilities, and features eight sensory stations and a wheelchair-accessible tree house.
