Virginia SNAP to continue emergency fund distribution in April

The Virginia Department of Social Services says emergency allotments for SNAP recipients will continue in the month of April. These emergency funds raise the SNAP member’s monthly benefit to the maximum allowable amount, based on household size.

Benefits will be automatically loaded onto recipient’s EBT cards on April 16th. For more information on Virginia SNAP benefits, contact your local department of social services or visit commonhelp.virginia.gov.
