Virginia mail-in ballot requests due Oct. 22

Residents of Virginia wishing to cast mail-in ballots for the November 2nd, 2021 election have until October 22nd to request them. Voters can apply for a mail-in ballot online at vote.elections.virginia.gov. Applications can be submitted to an individual’s local Voter Registration Office by mail, fax, or email. Voters are encouraged to request mail-in ballots well in advance of the deadline to ensure it is received in time. The Virginia Department of Elections says any applications received after 5 PM on October 22nd cannot be accepted.
