Virginia Governor Youngkin updates COVID-19 Action Plan

Virginia Governor Youngkin updated his COVID-19 Action Plan this week to continue the Commonwealth’s commitment to providing flexibility to healthcare workers, additional vaccine events, and charting a path to normalcy.

Youngkin says with a decline in cases and hospitalizations, and increased immunity to the omicron variant, now is the time to attempt getting back to normal. The updated plan includes more than 900 vaccine clinics happening through April, and more flexibility for hospitals– such as exemptions to scope of practice requirements and hospital bed limitations.
