UPDATE: Sheriff’s Office identifies body as Vansant man

Buchanan County, Virginia police have released the name of the man found dead Tuesday in Vansant.

A report from Sheriff John McClanahan said the body was identified as 58-year-old Gregory Kyle Norman. He was found lying face down in a creek not far from his home located off of Deskins Road.

Norman’s body has been sent to Roanoke to determine the cause of death.
