TBI assists Greene County Sheriff’s Dept. in death investigation

A deceased man was found at his residence Wednesday, according to the Greene County Sheriff’s Department Criminal Investigation Division. The GCSD Investigation Division and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation responded to a call on Hartman Lane after reports of a man found in a detached garage. The man has been identified as the property owner, 80 year old James W. Woods. The body was sent to ETSU’s William L. Jenkins Forensic Center to determine a cause of death.
