TBI agent provides Megan Boswell timeline of false reporting in murder case
State prosecutors tried to strengthen their case against Megan Boswell by having a TBI agent take the stand in a motions hearing held in Sullivan County.
The testimony given by Special Agent David Gratz related to Boswell’s false reporting charges says Boswell knew that her daughter had died during the first week of December 2019 and then proceeded with a trail of lies about 1-year-old Evelyn that was spread to investigators and her close friends.
Evelyn was not reported missing until two months later with her body eventually found in March 2020 in a child’s playhouse built for Megan when she was little on her father’s property.
Boswell’s attorney is asking for a change of venue for the eventual murder trial and for the charges of false reporting to be tried separately.
