Sullivan Commissioners Trying To Decide How To Spend Estimated 30 Million In COVID19 Relief Funds

Sullivan County is projected to receive 30 million dollars in CARES Act and American Rescue Funds in the near future. In response, county commissioners are attempting to form a special committee that will decide exactly how the county can and will spend the funds for COVID19 relief in Sullivan County. The committee will consist of members of the Executive, Administrative, Budget, and Financial Management committees in Sullivan County. County Commissioners are expected to take up the matter Thursday in a six o’clock commission meeting in Blountville.
