SCSO Investigating Suspicious Death, Man In Custody

The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating what they are now calling a suspicious death in Kingsport after authorities discovered the body of 37 year old Matthew Isenberg of Horseshoe Drive. Officers responded to the residence following a 911 hang up call. Upon arrival police discovered 37 year old Corey Vaughn pointing a gun at officers. Vaughn was eventually apprehended without further incident. Investigators gathered numerous items of evidence and conducted extensive interviews. That information is now in the hands of the TBI laboratory as they continue the investigation.
