Police: Vandal steals mail and damages church’s mailbox

Kingsport police have been supplied with video footage of a suspect in a church vandalism case.

The report says the vandal stole mail from the mailbox posted at Preaching Christ Church in the 700 block of East Sullivan Street in the downtown area on Feb. 11 and then damaged the container.

The video clip showed the male suspect stepping into a silver van that had a female driver. Anyone with information on the case can contact Kingsport PD including submitting tips anonymously.
