Police use FLOCK security cameras to locate carjacking suspects

The Washington County TN Sheriff’s Office have arrested 39 year-old Ryan Waye of Rogersville and 41 year old Tesha McDowell. Both face multiple charges including Aggravated Robbery and carjacking. Officers responded to an incident at a business on Bob Jobe Road in Gray Wednesday morning. The victims stated that Waye and McDowell made arrangements to pick up personal property from a recently repossessed vehicle. Once inside the vehicle, McDowell began to drive away almost hitting four individuals at the business with the vehicle. The business owner attempted to intervene at which time Waye threatened him with a firearm. WCSO utilized the Flock camera network to assist in determining the suspect’s direction which led to deputies in Hawkins County locating and apprehending both suspects less than an hour after the alert was issued.
