One person injured in Wednesday crash on I-26
One person was injured after a crash on Interstate 26 in Sullivan County Wednesday. The Tennessee Highway Patrol report says a Ford Ranger was traveling west on I-26 near the 1.2-mile marker just before 7 p.m. The vehicle hit the rumble strips, over corrected, and flipped. The driver was extracted by first responders and received only minor injuries. Shortly after the original crash, a second accident occurred in the area caused by slowing traffic, with no injuries reported in the second accident.
