NBA invites McClung to All-Star Weekend to defend Slam Dunk crown
A published report in The Athletic said Gate City native Mac McClung has been invited to defend his 2023 NBA Slam Dunk championship won at All-Star Weekend in Utah.
The 24-year-old is now in his third season in the NBA developmental league, having been released by the Orlando Magic after training camp.
McClung was named G League Player of the Month for November.
The dunk contest is part of the NBA’s All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis Feb. 16-18.
