Missing Greeneville man’s body recovered from Nolichucky River

A missing Greeneville man’s body was recovered from the Nolichucky River on Sunday, according to the Greene County Sheriff’s Department. Greene County Sheriff’s Department says the body of 36 year old Brian Key of Greeneville was found off Bright Hope Road in the Nolichucky River Sunday shortly after 4 p.m.  Key had been reported missing on by family members on Saturday. Key’s vehicle was found near the river off River Bend Road in Greene County. Authorities began searching for Key on Saturday. The investigation into the death remains open.
