Meet The Mountains Festival

The 5th annual Meet the Mountains Festival will happen this year on August 18 and 19 at Winged Deer Park Lakefront in Johnson City. On Friday the 18th, the festival hours are 4-10 p.m. On Saturday the 19th, the hours are from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Meet the Mountains is a free, family-friendly event that promotes Northeast Tennessee’s beautiful outdoors. The event is usually held at Founders Park, but was moved to Winged Deer due to construction. Activities include live music, a zipline, a bike course, a demo pool, air dog shows, yoga, a rock wall, and more. Also vendors with a variety of food, local beer, and more. 10 thousand are expected to visit the festival this year.
