Kingsport”s Miracle Field Receives National Project Of The Year Award

In Kingsport a rubberized baseball field, and an adaptive playground, designed to accommodate special needs children, wounded warriors and others has received a national award. Kingsport’s Miracle field Complex was built by the city’s Public Works Department. The award comes from the American Public Works Association’s Project of The Year and recognizes a project that emphasizes outstanding planning, construction and management. Kingsport’s, Miracle Field is only the second time the Tennessee Chapter’s project nominee has been selected as a National Project of The Year.
