Johnson County Board Of Education Adopts Mask Mandate For School Employees

Johnson County, Tennessee school board members grappled Thursday night with a mask mandate proposal for all school employees. There were many questions asked, including would teachers be required to wear a mask if they were further than six feet away from students. Board members voted four to one to implement the mask mandate for all school employees if they are within six feet of another person. The mandate will be reviewed at each school board meeting to determine if it should be continued.
