Johnson City Man Faces Arraignment On Assault Of First Responder
A Johnson City man, who police say attempted to start several fights at a bar early Sunday morning is jailed after assaulting a bar employee with a glass bottle and then kicking a JCPD officer twice in the chest as he was being placed into a police vehicle. Jamoral Hill was being escorted out of the bar at 227 E Main Street following a report of a fight. Hill grabbed a glass bottle and struck the bar employee in the face. Hill then fought with police, kicking one officer twice in the chest as he was being arrested. Hill is being held on a 50 thousand dollar bond and is facing arraignment in Washington County Tennessee General Sessions Court.
