Holidays begin in Tri Cities

The holiday season kicked off this weekend with 2 Holiday parades in Erwin and Fall Branch. Bristol residents gathered in downtown Sunday evening for the 43rd annual Christmas Tree Lighting. This year’s event started off with a new addition to kick things off with a Winter Carnival. And Candyland Christmas in Johnson City officially opened Saturday. Things kicked off with the annual tree lighting at Founders Park and King Commons that includes more than 160 Christmas trees decorated by area businesses and organizations.
