Hawkins County fire prompts evacuation request
Dozens of people were evacuated from their homes overnight in Hawkins County, Tennessee. A fire broke out around midnight at the old Pressmans Home trade center building. Officials say a building connected to the fire contained propane tanks, barrels of oil, ammunition, other flammables. 52 people living within a one-mile radius were told to evacuate with all 13 fire departments in Hawkins County responding to the scene along with several other agencies. The area was determined safe and the evacuation order was lifted shortly before 3:00 a.m. Monday.
