Greene County man accused of killing parents makes court appearance

A Greene County man has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder. The Greene County Sheriff’s Department, found 60-year-old Cassandra Wilhoit and 68-year-old Ray “Allen” Wilhoit dead in a home on Hartman Lane, Friday. 35 year old, Jessie Wilhoit, was taken into custody without incident. The GCSD identified Jessie Wilhoit as the son of the deceased. Wilhoit was charged with two counts of first-degree murder and arraigned Monday morning in sessions court where he was appointed a public defender. His next court date is November 8th.
