Gardner Webb’s Tre Lamb to become 20th head football coach at ETSU

Athletic Director Richard Sander said current Gardner-Webb head coach Tre Lamb checked all the boxes during the interview process.

Lamb was given the reigns to ETSU Football, becoming the 20th coach in the program’s history. Lamb’s resume includes FCS playoff appearances and two conference championships.

His air raid offense with the Bulldogs last season led the Big South in six categories including points scored, total offense, and completion percentage.

Lamb will be formally introduced at a Johnson City press conference on Wednesday.
