Foul odors, toddler soaked in urine with matted hair leads to children’s removal from Bluff City home
Two children were removed by state child services from a Bluff City, Tennessee home after Sullivan County police received tips about the parents providing unfit living conditions.
Sara Beth Black, 29, and Austin Hunter Cox, 31, have posted bail after being arrested and charged with felony aggravated child abuse and neglect.
A 2-year-old child was discovered with matted hair while also being saturated in urine and dirt and having several scratches. A 12-year-old was also taken from a location on Mountain View Road that was described as having a foul odor due to animal waste, trash, and molded food.
