Former Johnson County judge pleads guilty
Former Johnson County Sessions Court Judge Perry Stout was in court Friday morning and pleaded guilty to laundering money and possessing marijuana. Stout and his wife, Pamela Stout, were arrested Wednesday after an investigation. Stout was initially charged with money laundering, possession of a weapon during the commission of a dangerous felony, conspiracy to possess with the intent to sell or deliver Schedule VI drugs and maintaining a dwelling for the sale or use of narcotics. Friday morning, Stout pleaded guilty to money laundering and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute charges, waiving his right to a trial. Stout now faces a sentencing hearing set for April.
