Expulsion Vote To Be Held Thursday In Nashville For Three State Representatives

Members of the Tennessee General Assembly will gather Thursday to vote on a resolution filed by Kingsport State Representative Bud Hulsey that would expel three fellow legislators who participated in a gun control protest last week where hundreds of protesters converged on the State Capitol. Representatives Gloria Johnson, Justin Jones and Justin Pearson all face expulsion for their role in the demonstration that caused havoc when they interrupted the session. The protest came as a result of the tragic school shooting at the Covenant School in Nashville that killed three students and three adults.
