Elizabethton crews to repair water lines on West Elk Avenue; possible water outages for area residents Thursday night

The City of Elizabethton says crews will begin water line repairs on West Elk Avenue Thursday night. The work area will be West of Bemberg Road to Militia Court. City officials say residences and businesses on the North side of West Elk Avenue to the river may experience low water pressure or no water during this time. Work begins Thursday at 10 PM and will continue throughout the night until the repair is complete. The City of Elizabethton thanks residents for their cooperation and patience during this project.
