Eastman Ranked As One Of Top Change The World List Companies

Kingsport’s Eastman Chemical Company is building the world’s largest polyester molecular recycling facility in the Model City. Efforts like this recycling endeavor is? now placing the company at the forefront of advanced recycling technologies that process hard to recycle plastics. It’s also gaining the attention of Fortune Magazine, who is ranking Eastman number 21 in its Change The World List. Fortune is recognizing Eastman for its positive social impact through activities such as this one that are part of their core business strategy. The mechanical portion of the facility is expected to be complete in late 2022.
