Eastman offering experience and pay for select high school students to bridge career gap
Eastman Chemical Company is currently recruiting students from West Ridge and Dobyns Bennett high schools for their Work-Based Learning program.
The company said in a report that the assignments in fire equipment and testing, metal shop fabrication, and production packaging allow students to bridge their high school learning into a high-skill career while earning $15 per hour.
Students interested in applying can contact their guidance counselors for more details. Eastman has plans to expand the program to other schools.
