College Readiness Programs Headed to Southwest Virginia Community Colleges

Nearly one and a half million dollars is headed to three southwest Virginia community colleges to low income and first generation high school students in support of college readiness programs. UVA College of Wise, Southwest Virginia Community College and Virginia Highlands Community College will utilize more than one point four million dollars to allow nearly three hundred individuals to participate in various college readiness programs including Upward Bound.
