Collective of Eastman military veterans pay tribute to fellow workers for Memorial Day

The veterans’ group at Eastman Chemical Company called EVETS paid tribute to former workers who were either killed or declared missing in action.

Flags and signs with the names of the more than 50 former Eastman employees are posted near the company’s corporate headquarters along Wilcox Drive and they will remain in place until June 3rd.

That veterans’ group and other Eastman volunteers will help area Boy Scout troops post American flags at the VA Mountain Home National Cemetery on Saturday morning beginning at 9:30.
