City of Kingsport Thanksgiving holiday schedules

The City of Kingsport has announced their Thanksgiving holiday hours. Kingsport offices will be closed November 28 and November 29. There will be no garbage or trash services on Thanksgiving Day with Thursday’s collections moving to Friday and Friday’s collections happening Saturday. That schedule includes trash and yard waste pick ups. The city’s demolition landfill will be closed on November 28 and November 29 and will reopen on November 30 from 8 a.m, to 11:45 a.m. Normal hours of operation will resume December 2.
