Bristol TN West State Street corridor study completed
The City of Bristol, Tennessee and the national organization WSP, or William Sales Partnership, have finished the corridor study of West State Street. The study was funded by a TDOT grant . The project analyzed roadways from the western edge of the city limits up to Volunteer Parkway. On Tuesday evening, WSP presented the results from the study to the city council at a monthly work session. The study also held public meetings that allowed citizens to participate in discussion sessions about how to improve the corridor. Information from the last public meeting will be presented to the city council next week. The council will vote on whether or not to adopt the study results at their next meeting on Dec. 5.
