Board of Regents Names Georgia Superintendent as Next TCAT President
A Superintendent of Schools from Georgia is headed to Elizabethton to take over as the next President of the Tennessee College for Applied Technology. The Tennessee Board of Regents appoints Dr. David Hicks of Bremen, Georgia to lead TCAT. Hicks says the Elizabethton center has an excellent track record of preparing and placing students in productive and thriving job opportunities that also enhances economic development for Northeast Tennessee communities. Hicks, takes over for current President Dean Blevins, who is retiring after leading the college for 13 years.
