Arrest report says THP Trooper vandalized property, made death threats
An arrest report out of Sullivan County says an active duty member of the Tennessee Highway Patrol violated a protective order and vandalized the person’s property.
Trooper Nicholas Collins reportedly cut the wires to a security camera, cut valve stems off of the victim’s tires causing them to go flat, and removed the license plate from their vehicle, according to the information.
The report also included information that the victim told police that Collins has made death threats toward them. The trooper was taken into custody without incident at his home in Washington County, Tennessee and is charged with violating a protective order and vandalism.
