JC launches traffic study for Highway 75 in Gray
Johnson City is launching a study looking for ways to improve traffic flow on Highway 75 in Gray. It’s an area of heavy congestion amplified by major housing growth over the last few years. The new study will look at traffic from Interstate 26 to Hugh Cox Road to see what needs to be done currently, but also with future planning in mind. Some improvements could be more lanes and traffic lights to more targeted improvements. 85 percent of the $150,000 study cost comes from federal and state money.
