Three Dobyns Bennett students struck by schoolmate on E Center

Three Dobyns Bennett High School students were checked out by EMS but received minor or no injuries after being struck outside their Kingsport school.

The preliminary review by city police said another student was at fault after they ran the red light, running into the juveniles on East Center Street near the Park St intersection.

The teen driver was charged with failure to obey traffic signals.
