Tennessee High Stone Castle reno officially underway

Construction has started on the renovation of the historic Stone Castle at Tennessee High School. According to Bristol, Tennessee City Schools , demolition began with the visitor-side bleachers on Friday. Some upgrades to the facility will include wheelchair access to the Southside Avenue entrance, accessible restrooms and new locker rooms under the visitor-side bleachers. Also a new press box, full replacement of visitor-side bleachers and new terrace seating on the home side are planned. The renovations will help bring the stadium up to the Americans With Disabilities Act standards. The school system said periodic updates on the progress will be  posted to the district’s website.
