Johnson City Man Takes Plea Deal, Will Serve At Least Seven Years For Numerous Offenses
He put GPS tracking on his ex girlfriend’s vehicle, had handcuffs, zip ties, tasers and more than one hundred thousand dollars in his vehicle when he was shot by a friend of the ex girlfriend. That was some of the police testimony presented against 57 year old Wayne Morris of Johnson City before he pleaded guilty to multiple crimes including aggravated attempted kidnapping, aggravated stalking, and employing a firearm and intent to go armed. Meanwhile, rape, aggravated burglary and aggravated kidnapping charges were dismissed among others. Morris will serve at least seven years in jail with the guilty plea.
