Suspect being sought in Brumley Gap shooting

Details are limited about a Tuesday morning shooting that occurred in the Brumley Gap section of Washington County, Virginia.

A report from Sheriff Blake Andis’ office said Thomas Farnham Stone, 33, of Bristol, Virginia has been identified as a suspect and he is the subject of an active search in the Chip Ridge Road and Rich Valley Road areas.

Andis said that Stone fled from deputies while driving an ATV. He should not be approached and details on his whereabouts can be shared at (276) 676-6000.
