Sullivan Investigators Probing Blountville Homicide, 17 Year old Male Found Dead

The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the discovery of the body of a seventeen year old teenager found Friday night in a home in Blountville. The Sheriff’s office says the body of 17 year old Gavin Brown was found at a home in the 100 block of County Hill Road Friday night by a family member. Brown’s body is undergoing an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Sullivan County Sheriff Jeff Cassidy says the circumstances lead his department to believe this is an isolated incident and there is not danger to the public.
