One Shot Fired, Dickenson County Father And Son Both Injured

Dickenson County investigators were on the scene late last night after a father and son were shot during an argument and according to authorities only one shot was fired. Dickenson County Sheriff Jeremy Fleming says officers responded to a home in the four thousand block of Carter Stanley Highway around nine Thursday night in response to a father and adult son who got into a fight over a firearm. As one of them attempted to leave with the gun, a struggle took place and a shot was fired striking both men. The father and son are listed in stable but critical condition and the investigation is ongoing.
