Homeland Security Grant, 394 Corridor Management Committee On Tonight’s Commission Work Session
Commissioners in Sullivan County are discussing several issues this evening during a work session in preparation for next week’s regular session of the County Commission. Commissioners are working on a resolution to appropriate and distribute more than 138 thousand dollars in grant monies to purchase equipment and provide training through a Tennessee Emergency Management Agency/Homeland Security grant. Also on the agenda is a resolution that would establish a Corridor Management Advisory Committee to study State Route 394 in Sullivan County. The work session begins at six pm at the Courthouse in Blountville.
