Youngkin, Donating First Quarter Governor’s Salary To Assist Law Enforcement, First Responders
Putting his wallet where his mouth is, Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin is donating his first quarter Governor’s salary of more than 43 thousand dollars to the Virginia Law Enforcement Assistance Program. Youngkin says he pledged to serve the Commonwealth without accepting a salary because he wants to continue giving back to the Commonwealth and helping Virginians in every way. Youngkin’s salary of 43 thousand 750 dollars will be used to assist law enforcement personnel and first responders who have undergone traumatic critical incidents.
