21 Year Old Southwest Virginia Man To Be Sentenced For Possessing More Than 30 Thousand Fentanyl Filled Pills

A 21 year old Southwest Virginia man is facing a mandatory, minimum sentence of ten years in prison after pleading guilty to a Federal Distribution charge for knowingly possessing approximately 30 thousand Pressed Pills containing the deadly drug Fentanyl. Zachary Ryan Hutton of Marion Virginia was arrested in June of 2021 after the U.S. Postal Service intercepted a package addressed to Ryan Hutton at the residence of his grandmother. Investigators later discovered another 798 pills referred to as M30 pills. Hutton also received approximately 30 thousand of the pills from California for 20 thousand dollars. Hutton is scheduled to be sentenced in July.
