USDA Rural Development awards Town of Pennington Gap $823,000 grant for water treatment repairs

The U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development awarded the Town of Pennington Gap a grant of $823,000 on Thursday. This USDA Rural Development grant will go to the improvement of the town’s water treatment plant. Virginia Congressman Morgan Griffith says, “Water service plays a critical role in promoting public health and increasing quality of life.”
