Bristol Residents Get Chance To Voice Concerns Over Stinky Situation At Landfill
A continuous, foul odor drifting from the Bristol, Virginia landfill will be the center of discussion Tuesday evening when a newly formed, grass roots organization hosts a meeting allowing the public to voice concerns about the stinky situation at the city’s landfill with civic leaders and other community leaders. The situation at the landfill has gotten steadily worse during the past year and some residents say it’s reached a crisis level. The issue has even gotten the attention of Bristol, Tennessee officials, who have heard concerns from Tennessee residents who live near the landfill. Tuesday’s meeting gets underway beginning at seven pm at the Bristol Train Station.
