Sullivan County Investigators Probing Sunday Drowning In South Holston Lake

We should know more later this morning concerning a drowning that occurred at South Holston Lake on Sunday. According to a press release the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office received a call just after four pm Sunday. Following a search performed by the Sheriff’s Office Dive Team, a male body was recovered from the water. At this time, the identity of the deceased is not being released pending notification of next of kin. The investigation is ongoing by the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office.
