Virginia DMV allowing walk-ins beginning Oct. 5
The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles announced they will begin walk-in services starting October 5th. The department transitioned to an appointment-only format in May 2020 after a temporary closure due to the rapid growth in COVID-19 cases. Officials say Virginia residents will be able to conduct business at DMV offices in-person without making an appointment. They go on to say that making an appointment will still be an option, as many customers enjoy the convenience and efficiency of them. Walk-in services will be available at Virginia DMV offices only on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays beginning October 5th. More information can be found at dmvNOW.com.
